Ethics and Compliance Switzerland (ECS) is an independent not for profit organization that was founded in 2014 in Berne, Switzerland.
In addition to individual members ECS has organizational members which include ABB, Basel Institute on Governance, Bayer Consumer Care, BDO, Givaudan International, Infront Sports & Media AG, KPMG, Holcim GroupService Ltd, Nestlé, Swisscom, Syngenta, Tillotts Pharma AG others.
ECS promotes the development of a compliance community across all sectors and organisations in Switzerland and the establishment and sharing of compliance best practices. It is the first NGO in Switzerland connecting private and public sector organisations and their officers and employees who share an interest in best practice integrity and compliance management.
ECS resulted from the National Compliance Round Table (NCRT) initiative and the two national cross-organisational round table meetings September 5, 2013 and January 30, 2014.
